KORI VALLEY
Echoing and Eclipse
Winds of the World
It's the cycle of all things
Generations of women have climbed the One Hundred Towers of Serenity to hear the wind, and generations of women have received its words. When Jira hears nothing, she refuses to be named Windless. Desperate for answers, she forces the Wind to speak. Its reply is a song of what came before and what will come after, the scales that balance light and shadow.
The Heart of Windgari beats at the center of Forever Mountain, and the Heartless who serve it are massing for battle. Jira can hear their heartbeat and follows it with the free tribes united by her, descending on the island prison of Varmidar, where the struggle for their freedom begins.
For Jira, this is only the beginning of a far greater conflict, one that will bring her people across the Aeran Sea to join the War of Two Brothers.
They would call it the Age of Madness…
This is the story of those who lived it
To truly know him, you must know adventure and mystery.
Kori Valley was born in Wisconsin in 1986. Growing up in the deep forests north of Green Bay, he found an abundance of inspiration for creating new and exciting worlds. Every rock told a story and every tree had a name.
He found his calling for writing fantasy after reading Terry Brooks’ The Sword of Shannara in middle school. Meeting Terry personally at a signing only cemented his passion for writing even more. Nearly a decade since he began writing Winds of the World, the first book of the Echoing and Eclipse series, the book was complete.
Kori resides in central Wisconsin with his wife Amy, three horses and two dogs. He is currently working on the next book in the series. When he is not writing he enjoys a relaxing trail ride and traveling with his wife.
