Haru Nakagami has dedicated his life to civil service. All the while his existence is illegal in Hyukai, he has little choice. His determination is unmatched, though once he's talent spotted he gets saddled with all of Hyukai's human rights.
Soon, he sees what a state the continent is truly in, and he resolves to improve human rights internationally. With him being the only specialist to turn to, thousands of lives on the line and an inability to ignore people in need, decades fly by. Finding the time to do what he really wants is impossible.
But Haru will do anything to see his dream become reality and make political history. Threaten his sister, tamper with the law, hire a war hero, team up with his sworn enemy, anything. He knows his neck will eventually be on the line and he accepts it.
His task is bigger than the brooding war hero he's falling for.

She likes to try her hand in as many of the darker genres as possible, but spends most of her time writing thrillers and composing world jazz fusion.
